Classes are open to all skill levels unless otherwise noted. Students should wear loose, comfortable clothing, or clothing that facilitates ease of movement. Shoes are not required but certain movements may be easier with shoes. Shoes also help to protect the feet and toes when doing quick stepping exercises and working with a partner. Please wear indoor only sneakers or tennis shoes. At times we may do lying down meditation and using “indoor” shoes helps to keep the floor clean for these practices. Running shoes or shoes with vibram or waffle type soles are not the best option. Flat bottom or “court” type shoes are preferable. Students are also encouraged to bring a water bottle.
